Here are the settings that I use. No guarantee that their the best (i'm not a codec pro) but they work very well for me. http://g.imagehost.org/0593/Settings.png[^] [edit] note that the "BitRate" slider has a huge deal to do with the quality of the compression. Set it 7000ish and adjust to taste.

www.screencast-o-matic.com[^] free. Or Camstudio. Great tool but make sure you choose a good codec else it won't be too cool. I use it rather frequently and it captures audio and video perfectly, and if you have your codec configured properly, you will get superb quality with low file size. Freeware and (can be) portable.

doubt that my Comodo is broken, just installed a week ago. Maybe it's just set too sensitive.

Check this out: On the msdn Message boards[^]this guy calls vista "Longhorn"! "Longhorn" is so much more secure than "Whistler", "Asteroid", "Memphis", "Chicago", etc (all codenames from windows 95, 98, 2k, xp, and vista). :laugh:
