You can't use SendInput on your machine to send keystrokes to a remote machine. You CAN use it if the remote machine is running a server application that responds to request from a client application on your machine. You can put the SendInput code in the server app and execute it on some signal that you come up with and send using the client app. But, then, Heath already told you this...
