I have played a little bit with compiling my program and found out, that unused functions are regardles if i am using them or not included in output. That is strange, i thought that everything that is not used in program is excluded from output. Anyone knows why and (if possible) how to fix that?

Probably anyone, who has ever try to obtain mac address has found page at Winsock Programmer's FAQ and saw all three samples. The most "complicated" method there was SNMP method and it actually works everywhere i tryed. But (there is allways some but)... After enumerating all mac addresses for my devices, i found myself tiny little confused. I have 2 network cards, one for internal network and one for inet, but i have 4 mac addresses. After some clicking i found two more device drivers. Every one of those two has its own mac address!! Now the question... how to figure out which mac address is owned by actually hardware (2 ethernet cards)? I have found one way, to get ip address from winsock and snmp, then match them and get mac address for match, but it is kind a annoying... Thank you for reading this, Rok

The problem: Owner of our firm, thinks that we are overpaid for our work or with his words; "Your payment is normal, for the job you do", so i decided to put some words on this board. Please be so nice and write few words what do you think about our salary, so i can show it to him :D The overview of our work: 3 man crew, working on 2 projects, first is personal managment system with data analyzing and the second is attendence with Z80 programable terminal (or network of them) with our software (result is balance of hours with analyses) comunicating over network,... All together 213.309 lines of C++ MFC code Both programs are working either on Oraclo, MS SQL or Access databases. Salary: somewhere around 700$ / month - full time job, but as you can think, it is really hard for 3 programers to handle such a line count Thank you for response!

What is happening now with terrorism, US have acchived in years long interference into other country internal affairs. What do you think, how much pressure is needed to make someone so angry (hopeless?), that he is willing to give his life just to hurt you (oh yeah i know, he is born for terrorist)? Instead of looking for guilt in other countrys like Afghanistan, start to look for an answer in your foreign politic. Dont understand this that i agree with terrorists methods (i am sorry for people that died in WTC :rose:), but what USA is doing around the globe for last 40 years is far worse than what they terrorists did (Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, Yugoslavia, Irak; do remember that song "It is all about money"?)! And concerning attacks in Afghanistan; i hardly belive USA gov. will achive anything good for you with bombardment. It would be better to give Afghanistan humanitarian help for money that USA is now throwing on Afg. in form of bombs (...) as it will only make people more poor and more extremists/terrorists will be born from that. Btw i live in Europe, i do not pray Alah, i just think with my own head ;)
