Not long I've had a keylogger installed on my machine without my knowledge (a variant of Ardamax keylloger - as I found out later it was included in an executable that I downloaded from the net). However the TaskManager, Process Explorer didn't show any trace of that. And neither F-Secure antivirus did not found any trace. At that time I was testing a monitoring software and that was showing that daily emails was sent from my machine containing in an attachment the keylogger's logfile. Finally I got rid of the keylogger by using Norton Antivirus trial edition. The truth is that I wouldn't found out of the keylogger if not looking at the monitoring software logs.
