If you are (untill now) still finding your answer is (helpfull, and you correctly read the question, and correctly give an answer) then be sure we have a big problem of understanding each other and we will never meet in a middle point of understanding. Let us keep away from each other, and ended here. If I had learned something from being a member in this forum in the past, it is, - I will NEVER post a question in here (although, I am sure that this forum can put msdn forum in there small pocket) - but, I may post an answer. Like now, I had a question in my mind and I don't know if it aplicable, (untill writing this sentence I didnot make any kind of research on it) and I have no clue about it. If I still in my current situation (did not make research) I am afraid of asking it in here. because I can imagine the response I will get, but i am not afraid of asking this question is Daniweb or msdn or vbcity. Such a decesion in not only because of your kind of response, but because you are getting courage from your collegue to doing it. The problem is not in you personally. The problem is in the psycological thinking of people in here. I wish you the best in your career.

I am giving you here an ideas not test them my self, neither I know if they are aplicable or no. #1 - In vfp reporting, there is an option to split the report into columns, where you design only the first column and when you run the report, the first column is replicated on the other columns with different data. Check if this feature exist in CR and it is suites you. #2 - If you can convert the CR document to image, then you can put these 2 images on host (word, excel, ie) and send them to be printed on 1 paper.

YESS, THAT IS YOUR JOB. When someone ask a question (in any forum) he is expecting to see an answer from expert, the expert answer should be correct. and your answer to him (althought i am now convinced it has no insult in it) is WRONG. <blockquote class="FQ"><div class="FQA"> d@nish wrote:</div>And instead of trying something (no matter how incorrect it is) if you just seek for a ready made solution, you are wrong (IMHO) (And that too without taking pains to search the solution).</blockquote> I am a vb programmer working as freelancer and I have 5 projects right now, so if one in my project I see a control that maybe usefull to any of application, should I re-create it AGAIAN? I would say you are TOTALLY wrong again. I will not re-create the wheel since someone (thankfully) has invent it before me, so I will use the wheel and adust it to my needs. if i am searching for something and someone did it, should I NOT use it? I don't think so. Do you have projects or working in a company? Do you want to convince me that you did not install & use already made controls or activex created by others? if your answer is yes, God be with you. <blockquote class="FQ"><div class="FQA"> d@nish wrote:</div>It is. And the language I had used was IMO related to the way OP had asked. It was something like: Q. Will X do Y when I put Z in it? A. Why not try yourself? </blockquote> I will say again, your answer does not have the solution. It is not the Trial neither in the documentation. and I can bet that you don't even know the answer or mis-read the questiom.

Would the response have really changed if d@nish's response was "What have you tried?"

absulotely 100% I don't know if you was following my posts in this thread when I said "being smartass and a**hole" is helpful sometimes, that was not a joke. This is how I became. Now, to show the you the difference/confusion and (why I accused d@nish response is insult. If someone post a question "how to set a value to textbox", I swear I will make fun of him with all my power until he stop asking those kind of question. but let me reverse the question, - Rabih ask how to change multiple days backcoloring - d@nish asnswer, Did you try it your self? As if this multiple backcoloring system ability is obvious/noticable property and every one should know it (WHICH IS NOT), in case that was true, I am 100% with d@nish response (whatever it was) because we did not see it. (but that was not the case) now my reverse Question Did d@nish try it? Did he put that 2 controls on a form and try to achieve that (in simple way) before he ask his question? because if he do, he will know that this property is not there. since he did not test, (in my opinion) he should not response with such an answer) So (my first impression) he is making fun and he has no right since he did not test it him self. When you answer "Did you try it" or "Check the help file" the answer supposed to be obvious AND the person who answer SHOULD know that the answer exist in "TESTING" or "READING" the help file. If d@nish answer was "What have you tried?" yes, it will make a difference, because this answer will show that either this question has no specific question in it, and d@nish did not understand in specific the problem and he willing to help when he knows. but pointing Rabih to try it by him self and the solution is not there??I guess that is wrong. What you call that?

Thank you for the link, which it true the msdn documentation, which is wrong that it contain NOTHING about changing or setting a multiple days with different back color. Mr. EliottA I am man who respect his words, and I want to put an end to this (with you in specific) I said "d@nish" insult Rabih with his answer. You Defend on it. You argument was "read the msdn documentation" which also failed because it is not mentioned there. You argument also was Rabih did not make any search on the subject. which is also failed because there is NONE I challenge you Mr. EliottA to find an easy answer to solve Rabih days backcoloring problem. easy means not re-creating the control and add some property or complex method in it. as you mentioned to him, reading msdn or any other documentation. Do that, and you will prove to (me) that his question is stupid and simple and should not been asked. If you could not manage to do it, then all what I said is true. I trust Dave Kreskowiak, I can send him 50$ in advance if you managed to prove what I asked from you. and I accept Dave to be ruler on this matter. (in case Dave don't mind) Tell me if 50$ suits you. (while I was writing this message, I got a response from d@nish. Which I understand from him hr was not meaning to insult but he did not see the question in specif) My offer is still on.

I am dieing from curiosity to know the reason. Maybe You can explain it your self, since you was the first one who answered "Try it your self" as other answer until now are not satisfying (to me) maybe you can explain it better.

    d@nish wrote:

Incorrect again. I just asked him to try out himself what he asked. He had some idea and he should have atleast tried to implement that. If he had achieved it himself, it would have given satisfaction. In case, he had got stuck somewhere, there are plenty of people out here to help.

I agree on the principle your are talking about. I am asking this question to you (3rd time I ask the question). In the picture Rabih post for the Control(datePicker or Month) he shows in specific what he want to change the backcolor of some days to be in different color and bind this coloring to a database. here is his question "quote" <blockquote class="FQ"><div class="FQA">rabih.tawil wrote:</div>I wanted to ask if the "Month calendar" control that is present in the toolbox in visual studio 2008, can do the same behavior</blockquote> Can It? <blockquote class="FQ"><div class="FQA">rabih.tawil wrote:</div>I wanted to ask if the "Month calendar" control that is present in the toolbox in visual studio 2008, can do the same behavior</blockquote> many day backcolor . Can it? <blockquote class="FQ"><div class="FQA">rabih.tawil wrote:</div>if possible please provide some code sample or useful link.</blockquote> He did not ask for complete code if that is the matter as some other member tried to show. Now the golden question to you. You told him to try it. Try what ? FWIW, The link posted by EliottA showing the msdn help tells (also) nothing about changing "many backcolor for days" which leads in my opinion that either you "making fun of him" or "did not understand the question" and to be honest, the second did not came to my mind until now.

He post the same question is msdn, and got response, and the answer was from 2 people post an article in codeproject. i am not here to defend on his name, but this site is well knows as insulting people. he got 180 degree in response in 2 forum asked the same question.
