Well we have several folks (particularly from the UK) posting news links to stuff that no one outside the UK would be interested in, and no, they don't add any comments either - it's usually just a link. No one replies to those threads with supposedly-funny retorts, do they? Ironically it's people from the UK who are quick to put down other threads. The Americans are tolerant (not surprising at all since the US is a far more culturally tolerant and accommodative country in general - probably the most tolerant in the world).
