I figured out the problem. I had IsPostBack in Page_Load commented out and that caused the Text Boxes to be updated with the old data. Time is the fire in which we burn.

Hi Toni, Which database are you using? I guess it's Access, right? If so, you need to grant the ASP.NET worker process identity(it's normally the ASPNET account) the write permission to the db file. You might want to check out the KB [Process and request identity in ASP.NET](http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q317012c)[[^](http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q317012c "New Window")] for more information.

Thank you for your help.:) After I posted the question and I got no reply, I realized that I could test this by myself by loading the file and doing a byte compare with the file in the disk:cool:. At the end the files were identical so apparently there were no memory alignment issues. But I wasn't aware about FILE_FLAG_NO_BUFFERING:confused:.
