My opinion is to start with C. C++ is too complex for the beginner, C# is easier but later it will be difficult to understand the ideas in C. Pascal is the worst possible choice. Assembler/C++ could be learned later.

I agree with your opinion at 100%. I hate "real time" AV and never use it. I run on demand AV sometimes when suspect something. But I know some companies whose policy is to run 2 or 3 AV simultaneously :))))))) What you will say about this?

I would say - first C++, then C#, and then Java :)
