For me, the answer is because I am a Microsoft developer. Since I already know C# I can learn ASP.Net very quickly. Or I can do SharePoint, or any other Microsoft technology. For me, that's the biggest reason to use it. There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
