So you want the event from 1 datagridview to be replicated on the other DG and the event is the sorting of the columns when the user clicks the column header. Do you start to see a pattern here. Take a look at the events available for the DG, there are lots of them and many for the column header. Identify the one used by the DG for sorting and replicate the event on the other DG (you will need a flag to identify the source so you don't fall into an endless loop). Hi, If possible use VARCHAR(MAX) instead of TEXT data type. TEXT should not be used anymore. If not possible, use INSTEAD OF trigger. Normal AFTER trigger does not support TEXT datatype. Hope this helps, Mika

If this is only internal network you can use SELECT HOST_NAME() giving you the name of the computer. You could then create a CLR proc to get the IP.

You can try using PIVOT if this is SQL2005.

Since you don't show the way you build up the string, my guess is that the string sent to the SqlCommand is not exactly the one shown. There is no one method to get ALL database servers. Each is going to have it's own method that you're going to have to use. You've already found SQL Server's, now you have to use a library specific to Oracle to get it's list. There is no such thing as an OleDb database server since this is a relatively generic method of access them. If you're refering to MySQL Servers, you'll have to use a library specific to MySQL to get it's server list.
