yeah thanks, will do. The Only concern is that all Hosting Providers ask to change only nameserver and they do not talk of changing A record etc. http://support.netfirms.com/article.php?id=032[^] Netfirms tells all about all hosting providers and all they ask is to change the NameServer. Will Update here after doing the changes.

yeah that helps so does it works like when we type http://www.codeproject.com appropriate dns servers assigned for codeproject.com look for the IP address of the hosting computer using the A Record and if they can resolve the ip address, we get web page or some error (e.g DNS Server could not resolve the Hosting Server) and if we send email to support@codeproject.com Domain Name Server looks for MX Record to find out the Mail Server So it seems Changing DNS Server for a Domain is only one part of Changing Hosting We will need to change all the A, MX etc Records as well Did i got it correct?

Hey Friends I have a Domain name with netfirms which i wish to host with godaddy. Now do i need to only change the DNS Records at Netfirms to point to godaddy nameservers and do i need to change the A Record at Netfirms as well? Is Changing NameServer sufficient for changing Hosting or A Record Change is also required? I do not have static IP Address. Yahoo Says An A (address) record is a DNS record that can be used to point your domain name and host names to a static IP address. Confused about this A Record and need help. Regards

Still 1 question Let's say i am selling some software with name XX and after some time (let's say after 3 months), someone registers the name XX as trademark or patent. Now whether i am supposed to rename or delete my product? (Sounds incorrect to me) Regards

Brilliant :-) Yeah, they talk about Company Name & then they say about Copy Right, never mentioned tradekark. Searched in the Company's Country, the XX Company Name is available to Register :-) Searched Trademarks, could not find anything, but will have to search again. That's a relief, i was really scared. I did'nt did anything intentionally, but lots of people think alike :-)

Drew Yeah it's complicated. They are also selling a product with same name, however although they talk about copyright & company name, i could not see anything on their website which says that XX is their company name. Would asking them about some proof would be rude? Regards

Thanks buddy I have a Software Product which has a name. Now i receive an email that the name is established company and in using the product name i am contravening copyright legislation. The Email never talks about trademark. It talks of two things a) Says the name XX is the Company Name. b) I am contravening copyright legislation Now any idea what a) I should do now b) I should have done (like checking for copyright, company names, copy right and / or what else?)

Hey Friends there was a post on cp about Nokia N900, i followed that and went to nokia site where they have a launch video which was a good video, but i remembered another video (probably of iphone) in which a guy places a box of the phone on table , presses a button and then smoke comes around and then box opens with stairs and people come out of the box and fire crackers etc and then the phone comes out. Has anybody seen that video ? In case yes, any idea where i will be able to see that again? Regards

And they say it is really cheap as it is OEM version and does not come with Manual , CD etc. Can it be possible? Would it be another pirated copy or something like that?
