I am not using any tool to create proxy. I am expecting the proxy to get autogenerated when i do webreference from our project. what namespace i have to mention in this tag "" currently which is present as empty in the WSDL we go from external service. For this whether I ave to work anything from our side or I ave to ask the external service guys only to solve this. Error 1 Unable to import binding '*****' from namespace '******'. App_WebReferences/****/ Error 2 Schema item 'import' from namespace '****'. The namespace attribute cannot have empty string as its value. App_WebReferences/*****/ i am getting above two errors. Try this To resolve your Logon failure issue , try the following steps : 1. Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Internet Information Services 2. Next, select Local comupter "Web Site" -> "Default Web Site" 3. Then click on the directory containing your site or if you are in the rool, click the folder with the "right Default Web Site". 4. Then under the "directory security" tab click the "Edit" under "anonymous access and authentication control". 5. Uncheck "Integrated Windows authentication" and then check "anonymous access " on top. Be sure to check "Allow the ISS .... control" Now you go and try new website. Hi Vinay, With this minimum explanation, it seems that you are using data binding. Also, you have some ListControl in your form as well which is related to the same datasource (i.e. same datatable might be used for Grid and that control). This list control does not have blank value in its master data. Verify this one otherwise try to debug (setting break points whereever ValueMember is set) your code to find out where you are getting the error.

Keep a Form level variable to get the mode of the screen. private String mode = "Edit"; Now change this mode whenever, your form's mode is being changed.
