I agree with the other member. I've used Visual Studio 2010 for the past two or three years. I don't consider upgrading unless there is something important that they have added, especially as 2012 has a silly layout and supports Windows 8 more than other versions.

Talking of Visual Studio upgrades... -
"ask a question" - rantIt also happend to me. And it's usually caused because "Coders" on here who are not intelligent enough to understand the question, they then declare the question unclear. And before you know it, your question gets deleted.

Codeproject, what is up with your connection speed? It's so annoying indeed. :(

What exactly is WPF, and why is it better than C#?I see. I still wish Microsoft would allow your application to contain every referenced DLL, so people do not have to download the .NET framework.

Codeproject, what is up with your connection speed? So, I have been facing a lot of Internet issues lately, so I assumed that the slow loading of Codeproject, and some other websites was my fault. But then I checked a website with high-speed servers and got this: [IMG]http://i53.tinypic.com/289v289.png\[/IMG\] The most annoying part about this is that this has been the fastest load (~2 Seconds), every other page I load takes rougly six-seven seconds if not more. Edit: Firefox(Probably not the best webbrowser anymore) just crashed attempting to post this. :wtf:

What exactly is WPF, and why is it better than C#?I've seen this popular thing on here. It's called WPF, I never really looked into it, because I am not into new things. But I've seen some cool things you can create with it. But, what exactly is it, is it different than Forms C#?

What exactly is ".NET J?"I just noticed that there is another language in Visual Studio 2010. It's called J, I have never noticed it before. Why exactly is it any different from C++, Vb.Net, and C#?

.NET is killing natural of programming from inside !?I never claimed that. I just pointed out that it has not been around for 35 years. And I do not like .NET myself, it has however teached me a lot about coding structures. I could step onto Java any time I want right now, C++ too. I think .NET is a good way to get started in coding. That however, is my opinion.

.NET is killing natural of programming from inside !?You have been thinking that for 35 years, is this a joke? The first Beta of Microsoft's .NET technology came out in 2000. And I don't think it's 2035 yet.

Re: Why I like C++I personally do not really like C++, I have tried it before but the syntax is just way too difficult for me to remember. If Visual Studio would make a better Help Box for it I might consider using it because of it's performance. But, I guess it's just like learning something completely new; Hard, but pays off. But, I still have a question for the people who are experienced in C++: How did you learn it ? And did you code in another coding language before C++ ? I have coded in C# for two years, and java for a year and when I step over to C++ to even make a 'Hello World' program I already quit since it's hard to remember the capitalization. -Yvar
