I have the same problem. Unfortunately, I cannot access the spam folder or the blocked mails, but I can whitelist e-mail addresses. Which are used for the daily insider and the weekly web developer newsletter?
Thanks for the alert (in case we missed it) but in this case it was all part of a Whacky Wednesday. Not a lot of fun, to be perfectly honest.

You wrote in a comment that if someone sees your name as the sender, they should simply not read your comment. I recommend you the same: If you see that someone has answered that you want to 'mute', then just skip the answer ;)

Can you do a `tracert` to see where the slowdown is? Do you have any proxies, firewall rules, content blockers like uBlock going on?
