Agreed he should never have dumped Owens as he was coming into his own in the band, the 'Glorious Burden' was a damn fine LP and 'Framing Armageddon' had it's moments. However equally fine in my opinion were 'Night of the Stormrider' and 'The Dark Saga' from a songwriting consistency point of view.
