GenJerDan was commenting on the fact that although the proposed regulation would permit children to work on farms owned or operated by their parents, they would not be allowed to work on farms owned or operated by Grandpa, or Uncle Bill, next door. Hence my comment, which was to GenJerDan's post, and hence, to the point. My own view was: IMHO, if the kid is capable of the work, they should be allowed to do it. Only one caveat: Safety Training. Which, strangely, is the route the administration appears to be adopting.
