I think it's showing disrespect for Islam (no I'm not Islam) and I think respect is a universal-all-applicable thing. If you don't respect one you don't respect all. So that's why I made my comments. While you'd never know from the media there are peaceful followers of Islam (in what proportion to extremist? I have no clue.) who do deserve respect. Just my two cents though...:rose:

For what it's worth, i'm making fun of A) Some of the sad and ridiculous claims we've heard in the past week regarding "Thinks That Are Offensive To Islam", B) The reputation Al-Jezeera has in some circles as an apologist for Islam, and #3 The arrogant claims made by "religious leaders" world-wide, wherein some event resulting in death, destruction, embarrassment, or financial loss is blamed on a specific sin and/or sinner. Silence is the voice of complicity. When the majority of muslims are silent when someone who converted from Islam to [random religion here] is threatened with death, then I can't have respect for the "silent majority" any longer. ---sig---
