My major is "computer science". It should be any computer application I want.

I am in need to a graduation project idea. If anyone has any ideas about projects he did or he wanted to do please share it with me. I want an attractive project. We are a team of 5 developpers in the project and we will do it in about 1 year. My interests : dektop applications , mobile applications , service oriented ... I am not interested in: Speech and pattern recognition , webites. The programming lanuguage doesn't matter. Any ideas are welcomed. Thank You Assaad Abou-Samra

I recommend doing something in Bioinformatics. Gene finding, metabolic simulation, constructing the whole genome of a Dinosaur etc. Contact me if you are intrested. jhaga It would be glorious to see mankind at leisure for once. It is nothing but work, work, work. I cannot easily buy a blank-book to write thoughts in; they are commonly ruled for dollars and cents. A[man], seeing me making a minute in the fields, took it for granted that I was calculating my wages. — business! - I think that there is nothing, not even crime, more opposed to poetry, to philosophy, ay, to life itself, than this incessant business. Develop a very complex cad product with openGL , 3D, its not easy either but you will learn a lot of things. Try to develop it in dot net.

One application I am already working on is a desktop app. where you download a whole genome(Human genome?) to your harddisk and then by selecting different options can "activate" genes, see in real time how long they are active, what they produce, how they interact. You could be looking into the information content of the DNA. Using statistical tools it is possible to predict if a stretch of DNA is garbage or not. It is like trying to decode a password. etc jhaga It would be glorious to see mankind at leisure for once. It is nothing but work, work, work. For my graduation project, I created a project called TestOracle to automatically generate source code for given webservice URL. http://testgen.tigris.org and Screenshots[^] . I've always wanted to extend it to support test data generation of C# & VB.net code. Much of the infrastructure is ready. When I wrote the app in 2002/2003, I had the choice of Java and vb.net (as c# was not installed on our university computers). This is an opensource project and I can give you access if you're interested.
