It only gets worse on a bike. I'm amazed some people are allowed to drive. Only bad thing about the bike is its horn sounds like a constipated bird trying to chirp. If someone's gonna pull out in front of me, I'd like to scare the daylights out of them with my horn but alas.

Yup. And the fact they aren't too wide makes it easier to do doughnuts. I found that out in a muddy field one day. Jeremy Falcon

 funny Btw, your Metal Musings link is giving me Error establishing a database connection. This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down. regards, Mircea Many people spend their life going to sleep when they’re not sleepy and waking up while they still are.

I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like. It's got a basket, a bell that rings, and things to make it look good. I'd love to ride in the California weather, but I'm on the other side of the world, in the middle of a wind storm that ripped the door off my ute ( pick up truck for you Americans ). Well, New Orleans isn't much better. Here you have to watch out for the massive holes in the roads. I enjoy a good bike ride, but I wouldn't get another one until I moved away from here. Jeremy Falcon

My wife got me a bike for fathers day http://www.codeproject.com/script/profile/upload/33721/Rebel_large_02.jpg[^] Love riding it on the California weather. Anybody knows about this bike? Any biker around here, I am just starting, they told me this one is good for a beginner like me. I had speed bikes when I was young. I just wanted a cruiser to enjoy in this owesome weather Cheers Al My eMail control My Blog

I reckon the Kawasaki KLR-650 has to be an all time classic , pretty much good for everything although slightly heavy , very popular with millitary apparently:rolleyes:

Yup. One of my brothers turned me on to that album years ago... we'd be out picking rock in the fields, and he'd get everyone singing "The Gnome". And FWIW, my bike does have a basket, but i opted for the horn instead of the bell...

That's cool, the horn redeems it. It makes the bike, well.... Cool - I thought perhaps you just thought I had a gay bike. I went through major Pink Flod periods in my youth, as I think we all do. I even had the Zabraskie Point soundtrack ( it sucked almost as much as Atom Heart Mother ). Sorry, I was talking about the hurricane cyclone, not the banana's. Here they're $10/Kg! I am still buying them for Mikey, but apparently I'm not a very good prospector as I have yet to find gold :|.

Anybody knows about this bike? Any biker around here, I am just starting, they told me this one is good for a beginner like me. I had speed bikes when I was young. I just wanted a cruiser to enjoy in this owesome weather Cheers Al My eMail control My Blog
