I'm curious, what do CPians eat for breakfast? My routine, having given up caffeine some time ago, is a glass of chocolate milk and 2 chocolate Pop Tarts. :)

Most days (about 90+ percent of the time), two slices of white bread toast, buttered, possibly with peanut butter and/or jelly/jam or Cheese Whiz. ALL days, coffee, usually 2 cooks before I leave the house... cup refilled within 5 minutes of arrival at work.

Pretty simple. One glass of Milk(lactose free), or Soy Milk, or Orange juice, or Apple juice, or Coffee (weekends only) and one serving of Croissant, or Bagel, or Toast bread, or Steamed rice - It's easier to make than to correct a mistake.

No, no. I don't eat the bland stuff ... instant brown sugar, or cinnamon, apple, strawberry or blue berry ... not plain. :)

Coffee and cigarettes. Prefereably as many as possible. This continues through the day until I get back home and eat some toast (quantity measured in loaves) or some other simple food, such as a chicken. Then I smoke, drink more coffee and finally go to sleep with more coffee and anouther cigarette.

I totally agree, but to change my way of life would mean to accept that I am wrong. This is a concept that I cannot fathom. ;P

True, my commute takes about 5 seconds. Basically, I get start the oatmeal, which takes about 1/2 hour to cook. Fire up the computer, check email, codeproject, and weather. When the oatmeal is done, start the eggs and dice up the apples. Serve! Actual time in kitchen is probably about 10 minutes tops. My son does the dishes. Occasionally I get distracted by CP and burn the oatmeal, hehehe, but my girlfriend has figured that out and watches it for me. :) (She's got a 45 minute commute and a lot to get ready in the morning, in case you're wondering.) We used to have this as kids, but my Dad would sweeten it up with a little pat of butter and some cinnamon and sugar or honey. Good stuff :) ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Real Mentats use only 100% pure, unfooled around with Sapho Juice(tm)! I'm curious, what do CPians eat for breakfast? My routine, having given up caffeine some time ago, is a glass of chocolate milk and 2 chocolate Pop Tarts. :)

For dinner I stop in the cafeteria just after work to have scrambled eggs or an omelet most days. Every once and a while, I skip that and just go home sit on the deck with a cold beer and watch everyone scurry off to work.

I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

That's a new one for me, I've never heard of steamed rice for breakfast.

Sort of tradition, as a replacement for congee. We don't have time to make congee in the morning. - It's easier to make than to correct a mistake.
