What do you eat for breakfast?

I'm curious, what do CPians eat for breakfast? My routine, having given up caffeine some time ago, is a glass of chocolate milk and 2 chocolate Pop Tarts. :)

muesli
Never heard of it. Just looked it up on Wikipedia. Looks good if you're into health food. :)

I eat better these days but I am not "into health food." I never used to like muesli but found a really good one here in Ireland. It is full of nuts (hazel, brazil, walnut, pecan etc.) which makes it taste great. regards, Paul Watson Ireland FeedHenry needs you
eh, stop bugging me about it, give it a couple of days, see what happens.

Coffee and cigarettes. Prefereably as many as possible. This continues through the day until I get back home and eat some toast (quantity measured in loaves) or some other simple food, such as a chicken. Then I smoke, drink more coffee and finally go to sleep with more coffee and anouther cigarette.
Somebody needs one of these[^]. :) By the way, that's the worst breakfast I've ever heard of, health-wise. :)

I totally agree, but to change my way of life would mean to accept that I am wrong. This is a concept that I cannot fathom. ;P

Pretty simple. One glass of Milk(lactose free), or Soy Milk, or Orange juice, or Apple juice, or Coffee (weekends only) and one serving of Croissant, or Bagel, or Toast bread, or Steamed rice - It's easier to make than to correct a mistake.

Interesting. I've never heard anyone use the word porage, outside of fairy tales. :) Porage oats is oatmeal, then?

 Really? I suppose it is oatmeal, but there are lots of varieties. My breakfast doesn't resemble the picture. :-D

how the heck do you have time for all that before work?",
True, my commute takes about 5 seconds. Basically, I get start the oatmeal, which takes about 1/2 hour to cook. Fire up the computer, check email, codeproject, and weather. When the oatmeal is done, start the eggs and dice up the apples. Serve! Actual time in kitchen is probably about 10 minutes tops. My son does the dishes. Occasionally I get distracted by CP and burn the oatmeal, hehehe, but my girlfriend has figured that out and watches it for me. :) (She's got a 45 minute commute and a lot to get ready in the morning, in case you're wondering.) We used to have this as kids, but my Dad would sweeten it up with a little pat of butter and some cinnamon and sugar or honey. Good stuff :) ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Chew (Kodiak) or a smoke
-
Coffee and food from one of the following
- McDonalds
- Wendy’s
- Taco Bell
- Taco Johns
- Subway
- Jimmy Johns
For dinner I stop in the cafeteria just after work to have scrambled eggs or an omelet most days. Every once and a while, I skip that and just go home sit on the deck with a cold beer and watch everyone scurry off to work.
I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

Pop Tarts? Yuk- my ex-wife used to eat those things. They're so unhealthy it's unreal (at least in the quantities she ate them, anyway!). :~ I usually have either cereal (wheat biscuits or sultana bran) or toasted multigrain bread, accompanied by either coffee (Kenco smooth) or grapefruit juice. Anna :rose: Currently working mostly on: Visual Lint  Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. Raisin Bran Cereal with a banana. That's usually after an hour of running or biking. Then later in the morning after a couple of hours of work, I'll have a snack like a toasted bagel with lettuce and tomato or sometimes non-fat yogourt with an apple or an orange. I prefer to eat small amounts, but many times through the day. I probably eat five or six times a day. Chris Meech I am Canadian. Well, if you're ever in the Hudson Valley region of NY, I'll make you breakfast. Or you can stay at Thyme In The Country B&B (my neighbhor runs it), and I'll cook you dinner! :-D Marc Pensieve Some people believe what the bible says. Literally. Hmm, can you say the name of the town? I live in Port Jervis, NY. Is that anywhere near? I tried looking up the B&B but there doesn't seem to be a website. Irene -- modified at 12:26 Thursday 15th June, 2006 Almost forgot. For breakfast this morning, I had grapefruit, orange juice and coffee.

Usually the largest meal of the day, ideally what most people eat for dinner. Then progressively less as the day goes by followed finally by a salad and maybe some bread and cheeses in the evening. Eating the largest meal of the day at the end of the day is incredibly backwards to what the body needs, leads to fatness, bad sleep, lack of energy in the day etc etc etc.
