I'm curious, what do CPians eat for breakfast? My routine, having given up caffeine some time ago, is a glass of chocolate milk and 2 chocolate Pop Tarts. :)

Any combination of the following: yogurt, oatmeal (with raisins or rice milk), cornbread or a similar baked good, cold cereal with rice milk, or a piece of fruit with cheese.

how the heck do you have time for all that before work?",

True, my commute takes about 5 seconds. Basically, I get start the oatmeal, which takes about 1/2 hour to cook. Fire up the computer, check email, codeproject, and weather. When the oatmeal is done, start the eggs and dice up the apples. Serve! Actual time in kitchen is probably about 10 minutes tops. My son does the dishes. Occasionally I get distracted by CP and burn the oatmeal, hehehe, but my girlfriend has figured that out and watches it for me. :) (She's got a 45 minute commute and a lot to get ready in the morning, in case you're wondering.) We used to have this as kids, but my Dad would sweeten it up with a little pat of butter and some cinnamon and sugar or honey. Good stuff :) ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! For dinner I stop in the cafeteria just after work to have scrambled eggs or an omelet most days. Every once and a while, I skip that and just go home sit on the deck with a cold beer and watch everyone scurry off to work.

I'd love to help, but unfortunatley I have prior commitments monitoring the length of my grass. :Andrew Bleakley:

Sort of tradition, as a replacement for congee. We don't have time to make congee in the morning. - It's easier to make than to correct a mistake.

Pop Tarts? Yuk- my ex-wife used to eat those things. They're so unhealthy it's unreal (at least in the quantities she ate them, anyway!). :~ I usually have either cereal (wheat biscuits or sultana bran) or toasted multigrain bread, accompanied by either coffee (Kenco smooth) or grapefruit juice. Anna :rose: Currently working mostly on: Visual Lint  Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. Raisin Bran Cereal with a banana. That's usually after an hour of running or biking. Then later in the morning after a couple of hours of work, I'll have a snack like a toasted bagel with lettuce and tomato or sometimes non-fat yogourt with an apple or an orange. I prefer to eat small amounts, but many times through the day. I probably eat five or six times a day. Chris Meech I am Canadian. Usually the largest meal of the day, ideally what most people eat for dinner. Then progressively less as the day goes by followed finally by a salad and maybe some bread and cheeses in the evening. Eating the largest meal of the day at the end of the day is incredibly backwards to what the body needs, leads to fatness, bad sleep, lack of energy in the day etc etc etc.

The "Steve Special": 2 fried eggs on a bed of potatos obrien, with a liberal slathering of tabasco sauce and an english muffin! Yes.... I eat that maybe once a week, and the rest of the time it's coffee and hoping my stomach doesn't eat itself before lunch. :)

Somebody keeps doing that. I noticed my original post that started the thread got some low votes too. Oh well.

Yeah I noticed a whole bunch of people on this thread getting 1's for no apparent reason. At first I thought they were using the 1 vote to indicate a displeasure with the individuals breakfast, but now I'm just convinced that whoever is doing this is just a retard :) ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! What idiot would vote you down? Gave you a 5 just to balance things out :) ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Seems I got voted a 1 for all my posts on the thread. Oh well. Certain things push people's buttons. Like "Marc Clifton". Like "organic". [edit]Ah, I see I am not being singled out. And here I thought I was speeecial.[/edit] Marc Pensieve Some people believe what the bible says. Literally. I'm curious, what do CPians eat for breakfast? My routine, having given up caffeine some time ago, is a glass of chocolate milk and 2 chocolate Pop Tarts. :)

Two eggo waffles (the blah Special-K type) with a little syrup.
