That's a new one for me, I've never heard of steamed rice for breakfast.

Sort of tradition, as a replacement for congee. We don't have time to make congee in the morning. - It's easier to make than to correct a mistake.

I'm curious, what do CPians eat for breakfast? My routine, having given up caffeine some time ago, is a glass of chocolate milk and 2 chocolate Pop Tarts. :)

Pop Tarts? Yuk- my ex-wife used to eat those things. They're so unhealthy it's unreal (at least in the quantities she ate them, anyway!). :~ I usually have either cereal (wheat biscuits or sultana bran) or toasted multigrain bread, accompanied by either coffee (Kenco smooth) or grapefruit juice. Anna :rose: Currently working mostly on: Visual Lint  Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. It didn't work.

Raisin Bran Cereal with a banana. That's usually after an hour of running or biking. Then later in the morning after a couple of hours of work, I'll have a snack like a toasted bagel with lettuce and tomato or sometimes non-fat yogourt with an apple or an orange. I prefer to eat small amounts, but many times through the day. I probably eat five or six times a day. Chris Meech I am Canadian. Irene -- modified at 12:26 Thursday 15th June, 2006 Almost forgot. For breakfast this morning, I had grapefruit, orange juice and coffee.

Usually the largest meal of the day, ideally what most people eat for dinner. Then progressively less as the day goes by followed finally by a salad and maybe some bread and cheeses in the evening. Eating the largest meal of the day at the end of the day is incredibly backwards to what the body needs, leads to fatness, bad sleep, lack of energy in the day etc etc etc.

The "Steve Special": 2 fried eggs on a bed of potatos obrien, with a liberal slathering of tabasco sauce and an english muffin! Yes.... I eat that maybe once a week, and the rest of the time it's coffee and hoping my stomach doesn't eat itself before lunch. :)

A cup of coffee and two cigarettes if I got the time to make the coffee. Else one or thwo cigarettes on my way to work, one coffee and another cigarette there, and then dig into work. I gotta quit smoking:doh:. I have easily given up caffeine, but then I have read that it's actually doing you good if you don't excess with it. So I'm back to caffeine because I like it. regards, Mircea Many people spend their life going to sleep when they’re not sleepy and waking up while they still are.
