talking to arafat is like talking to a toilet paper. William De Prêtre wrote: Inviting them for a picknick What they do ? they bomb us. you see only them. Dan Pomerchik wrote: stones can kill too. and what do you want , that we throw on them stones too? What you mean those little rocks can penetrate armour ? Every bleeding child on the streets is costing you dearly and yet the Israeli armed forces don't pull any punches against mere children. PS : can you explain to me why a non-violent march by jews (mostly) and arabs was so brutally beaten away by the Israeli armed forces ?

Interesting perspective. Surely Sharon has self defence (if a little extreme) has an excuse. The Jews weren't much of a threat to Hitler apart from in his own head. Bottom line, a lot of people need to hang their heads in shame for their involvment in the Middle East problem. It's easy to place the blame, what the world need is somebody bold enough to step forward and make a difference. Michael :-)

What part of share is difficult to understand ? Jerusalem is holy to three religions and in medieval times it could be shared (somewhat). Why not again ?

Pol Pot ? Anyway, Sharon may not be Hitler yet but he's getting there slowly but surely. PS : tell me, a long while ago footage was shown of Israeli soldiers breaking Palestian boys' arms with rocks. What is the military purpose of this ? Does it stop terrorism ?

I remember reading a Time interview with Barak after he had to leave office. He said that he chose the right road -- to seek peace -- even if it wasn't popular. He felt that history would vindicate him. Looking at how things have escalated with Sharon, I wonder if anyone realized how things could go wrong so quickly. Every bomb like that is tenth's of wounded (which usually some of them die later) and death. Once again, compare the number of Jews and Arabs died over the last year (not only during the last few days). I don't think that Arabs die less in this war. And why do you think this land is yours? Your land is within the borders as of 1948. Regards, Nikolay

Well, the number of jews died is very big. Just today when I read the newspaper I came across a full list of all victims since the beginning of Al Aqsa. It is 400+ victims (death only). I would have scanned it and show you, even its in hebrew, but it's too big to fit in the scanner! I don't say they have no victims, but I think we got more. After all, we aint bombing them every day or so - Dan "Intel inside - Idiot outside"
