OMG are falling for Rachel the pancake? Speaking of photo ops gone wrong. Let's see, you walk in front of a bulldozer where the operator cannot see you, and you wonder why you were run over? Israel is fighting to survive, but so are the Palestinians. Sending helicopter gunships to blow people up is effectively the same as sending young people wearing explosives. Neither is in the right. The Roadmap to Peace was a fantastic idea because it was balanced. I'm surprised and impressed that the US government thought of it and (in my opinion) it's the fault of the people in the Middle East that it didn't work.

You'd think that after their whole culture was persucuted by the Nazis that the Jews would be more understanding, but it seems that they are doing the same thing Hitler did. That's hypocrisy and using guilt over the Holocaust does not excuse it.

I'm still laughing - why don't we save them all the trouble: load'em up in 'copters and drop'em off in a convenient location.

they are more understanding, they realize evil has to be confronted immediately.

no hypocrisy, no guilt - just well honed survival instincts. Mike Dear NYT - the fact is, the founding fathers hung traitors.

Ethiopa has a long history of fighting the Jihad, despite their apparent dispensation due to saving some of Mohammed's followers. A Taliban state in Somalia isn't going to go down well. http://k47.pbase.com/v3/87/314587/2/51576989.FrescoofStGeorge.jpg[^] Ryan

Taliban State, this has to be seen. The radical islamism of the UIC is worrying, but it does not mean they will turn to Al-Qaeda supporters. Somalia might even been a safer place now regarding hosting terrorist groups than when it was a 'no-law area'. At least now there could a government responsible for what happens in Somalia. The example of Afghanistan might help them not to do the same mistakes.

There are certainly some hard line Jews who would like every Arab removed form Palestine. But I dont think the will go about it with Zyklon B. Of course, the fact that Mein Kampf is one of the most popular books in Palestine isnt helping the situation. Tronché pas ma miche! -- modified at 8:38 Thursday 6th July, 2006

How? because She jumped in front of a bulldozer we are supposed to feel bad for her when she was flattened? What did she expect? When I watch videos of people doing stupid shit I have the same reaction. When you do stupid things and die as the result, you can expect such reactions from me. Kinda like the man who went up to the polar bear to pet it and was attacked. Stupid, stupid people. Thats because as Arafat was talking peace he was still attacking Israel. "There was a working assumption in the United States that Arafat's declaration of December 1988, in which he grudgingly recognized Israel and renounced terrorism, signified a long-term change PLO policy, and was not just tactical. Yet the inflamed rhetoric and violent activities of the PLO continued while Arafat talked peace. " Link So yea, you right, there are 2 sides to the story. Oh quite. Each side is as bad as the other. Perhaps the Arab is a more fervent activist. The Jew is more cynical and calculating in his actions. But hatred, intent, and action exist on both sides in similar proportions. Tronché pas ma miche!

How? because She jumped in front of a bulldozer we are supposed to feel bad for her when she was flattened? What did she expect? When I watch videos of people doing stupid shit I have the same reaction. When you do stupid things and die as the result, you can expect such reactions from me. Kinda like the man who went up to the polar bear to pet it and was attacked. Stupid, stupid people. My mom told me once that "while we all don't speak the same language, everyone in the world undestands an asskicking"

At least on TV[^]. So, how long until the next round of wailing and moaning about imperialist aggression? Or maybe we can sit on our collective arses for the next 10 years like we did with Afghanistan, while the majority of human rights NGO's bang on about Israel running the Merkavas too loud and keeping the terrorists awake. Mel thought that his little gay SM movie about his imaginary friend was going to help him get to heaven." - Penn Jillette

Apparently, loud music is Haram in Las Vegas: Police shot and killed a man in a car on the Las Vegas Strip late Tuesday after an altercation that authorities said began with a command to turn down his car stereo.[^]

Oh quite. Each side is as bad as the other. Perhaps the Arab is a more fervent activist. The Jew is more cynical and calculating in his actions. But hatred, intent, and action exist on both sides in similar proportions. Tronché pas ma miche!

Arab anger over the issue is entirely justified. They were victims of Western aggresion in the past and Israel is an example of a modern version of it (although historically they were certainly as aggressive mililtarily as any western power was). However, that does not excuse the tactics they employ to deal with that situation.
