Yes, I believe in it, it's called Faith. But I think I'm losing faith. :sigh:

Why did God even create this world in the first place?? If God is so forgiveful and mercyful, why did He send us to Earth to suffer just because Eve and Adam ate an apple from a forbidden tree? Then He send His own son to die on cross for our sin? If our sin is no longer existed, why aren't we in Heaven now? The more I read the bible, the more it doesn't make sense. The more I pray, the more I suffer. Why... :(:sigh: I hate this world.

How do you go from being on top of the world dreaming of the beauty of women, to completely hating the world within such a short time period? Lighten up, man. Your going to be absolutely miserable for a long time if you don't find your sense of humor. I think it's going to be pretty tough to honestly try to get an understanding about something you hate. Just open your eyes, man. Take notice of what's going on around you and don't assume face value. If you want to pray, go for it, but don't expect for a second that anyone, God included, will give you anything for nothing. Also, accept that you won't find answers for everything when you're looking for them. Life works on its own timeline, mostly you're just along for the ride. BW

It has nothing to do with prayer, it has nothing to do with a supreme being cursing you. You are your own worst enemy, you give your power over your own life to others and then complain when it doesn't work out. He meant that a lot of people are unhappy because they surround themselves with themselves. And arranging one's life so that it only includes oneself is vain.

Who are you, and what have you done, that such a thing should be revealed to you? Be content with what you have been given, especially with your ability to learn - put it to use, and see what you can find.

Love it or hate it, it owes you nothing. If you disdain what you've been given, then don't be surprised when even that is taken from you.

erm... soapbox ? In answer tho - it's not true that we all suffer for Adam and Eve, and Jesus died so that you have a choice to 'go to heaven' ( actually, there's no heaven, either - that's another story ). What you do with that, is up to you. Did some woman leave you, or have you met a woman who is religious ? Either way, I suggest reading the gospels ( Matthew/Mark/Luke/John ) before reading any thing else in the Bible.

Well said. I was about to post something similar. And suffering is relative. There are people in this world who really really suffer 99.9% of their lives. Talk to them and you might realise your "suffering" is not suffering at all, but just a period of unhappiness.

The problem is you don't love your self, There is a wonderful vibrant world to be discovered out there, but first you have to be happy with yourself first. If you aren't happy with yourself and who you are, then even the most beautiful sunny day can feel like the darkest storm. For those who believe, the most important thing is to remember that 'God' only takes care of the things that we can't handle ourselves. So concentrate on the everyday things and let the 'Universe' worry about the rest. For those who don't believe, well we just get on the best we can. Safe in the knowledge, that this is the only chance we get, so we try and make it the best one we can. Life is wonderful and fantastic but you've got to put some effort into it.
