http://labs.jphantom.com/wpm/[^] Although it's not suited to a programmer's style.  Anybody want to write one?  Or are we all too embarrased by our reliance on Intellisense (when it works:rolleyes:) :) My speed (after a few attempts to get used to the language): 122.11 wpm[^]

As of how to accomplish this I wouldn't have a clue at the moment and I'm too lazy to google it

I don't think the wpm calculation is correct. I got 90-something on this test, but another test[^] puts me around 60-70 consistently.

Was it sentences or was it (as it looks like from my glance) just random alpha-numeric characters?  If the latter then I'd expect "scores" to drop.

Do it a few times and you'll notice that you'll often get some repeated text.  But then again my 122 was very early on when it hadn't yet repeated :~

Was it sentences or was it (as it looks like from my glance) just random alpha-numeric characters?  If the latter then I'd expect "scores" to drop.

It's real paragraphs. But with all the punctuation and capitalization included. It uses a Java applet to run the test.
