    2Ghz, 512MB, 80GB (soon to install another 100GB once I find a bracket), NVIDA card, 17 inch ViewSonic Monitor. Running XP Pro and still dog slow...

            Chris, I understand the theory of dual-CPU systems, but in practice, how's the dual-CPU setup doing with development tasks? Worth it?

            i'm not sure it improves the build process by itself (i don't know if the compiler is multi-threaded at all, or enough to matter), but i can easily build and surf at the same time with no lag! -c

                      Sometimes you catch interesting bugs in multithreaded code ... I have seen that multithreaded bugs tend to showup faster on multi-processor machines. :) Thomas
