I reckon you can't go wrong with the Drive By Truckers or some Bjork or some Stevie Ray Vaughan or some faithless!! Not sure how you would sum up my musical taste's!!

Oh, uh, good question. Now technically speaking, uhh, let's say, put me down as a... 'Whatever'?

Anything from theSTARt, Guano Apes or Tsunami Bomb, Noir Desir, System of a Down, Linkin Park, Fort Minor, Ex-Girl, Annalisa, Jin Susuki, Negramaro or Coma (Romania). And, even if I don't really like this kind of music, anything trance or tehno with fast rithms and as little voice as possible. My favourites, though are "Inner Universe", from the Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex soundtrack and "Path Vol2" by Apocaliptica with Sandra Nasic.

Vai, Satch, Yngwie and EVH are top of my list. Virtuoso guitars stimulate my programming centers. Just found a metal band called Dragonforce that I am into right now Big into creating my own stations on Pandora.com for this.

I like listening to the soothing voice of Maaya Sakamoto or tunes created by none other than Yoko Kanno. I've found that I can focus longer and maintain larger contiguous thoughts in my head while developing to the appropriate music.

My, my... I work from home...no music, no TV, no interruptions, no sounds except the chair squeeking as I move closer and closer to my finished code....and of, course the ability to shout out a few nice words at which ever code language I happened to be contracted to code in and how it is inept at performing even some of the simplest object calls... Outside of that, I love to listen to the SWOOSH of the shaft, followed by the SMACK of the golf ball going down the fairway, and of course the eventuall ploppety plop of the ball going in the hole.
