Website architecture
-
Over the years, I have designed several "websites", the quotes indicating that there were no more than some html pages with javascript/perl/php where needed. I now need to design a site with a login/management system, shopping cart, what not. The site is to evolve over time and will require to have a reasonably sound basic architecure in xhtml, php, mysql. So, I was wondering if any of you is familiar with some online resources addressing website architecture. Also, debugging php online is a pain. I've tried working with php IDEs but I guess I have not found the right one because the process was a nightmare. Any suggestions on this area are also most welcome. Thank you guys.

Take a look at www.yessoftware.com (code charge). It can do 80% work for you. They can generate code in asp, asp.net, php, cfm, ... from same project description with a touch of a button. for php debugging try zend studio

I used Zend Studio 3 years back, and found it much better than any other IDE I used for PHP. Give it a look. Things might have changed since then. Haven't been in touch for some time.
