Just out of PURE curiosity (I'm going to be shot for this) how does your compiler handle 3D graphics (email me the answer).

use a pen and paper; it's 2d enough. seriously, do you have a game idea ? what this game will be ? how it's going to be played ? the rules ? the elements ? how many players ? how the computer will play if you have to play against it ? even if it's a highly graphical game, try drawing a storyboard of the game, that depicts how the game will be played. other than that, GDI might be enough.

Yesterday my boss gave me an URL to read a document. The link got blocked so I complained about that to him. After sometime he sent a mail like "Try it now". That's it. Anyway I think it would have been a much wiser choice to send this message through an encrypted connection to one of my sites using a previously decided apon private key. Why you may ask, Well because your system admin seems to read CP.

Click and Play, it was published in 1994 and works fairly well. Beyond that Open GL is so much easier to use than DirectX but you don't get the added benefit of DirectInput. I used to be a fan of the C4 engine because of the low cost but after playing the demo a few times I am no longer a fan of the graphical abilities.

Click and Play, it was published in 1994 and works fairly well. Beyond that Open GL is so much easier to use than DirectX but you don't get the added benefit of DirectInput. I used to be a fan of the C4 engine because of the low cost but after playing the demo a few times I am no longer a fan of the graphical abilities.

actually, using direct Input with OpenGL is quite common and relatively easy compared to learning all of DirectX. :) I use DirectInput for joystick input, as do many OpenGL programmers who need access to joystick operations for windows only work.

Great! Do you know what he did? Maybe he accidentally unblocked everything. Anyway I think it would have been a much wiser choice to send this message through an encrypted connection to one of my sites using a previously decided apon private key. Why you may ask, Well because your system admin seems to read CP.
