    Ah, too much hate.

And a proper computer is what, like the Linux world where they tell you "oh, just download the source and compile it"? Yeah, that's productive. Marc

No, but it gives you a huge sense of satisfaction when you compile an entire OS from the ground up (ps, you get lots of coffee breaks when you start on Gnome or KDE ).

I thought this[^] was very funny. I hate Macs. I have always hated Macs. I hate people who use Macs. I even hate people who don't use Macs but sometimes wish they did. Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.

The only way to have fun with a Mac is to poke its insufferable owner in the eye.

I'm sorry to have to say this. But I found the above quote VERY funny ;P

I used to like the old email tagline: "I used to miss my Mac, but my aim is getting better"

Two buttons in a mouse is too complicated for a Mac user, also mice with only one button are cuter so Mac users don't cares what you can do with two.

Yes the article is funny, and he's an ok writer. But his sentiment is really stupid IMO. He should spend less time on the computer and be less obsessive about it. I mean really, it's a bloody machine.

true...for a PC. ...but every time I've ever used a Mac, I feel like I'm using a clunky TI-86. Macs are crap...always have been...always will be.

Their target market used to for a while be graphic designers like myself, but since the industry had too many people come in that don't know what the hell they are doing and could care less about the culture, that has really lowered the bar for everyone, so clients started to feel that it wasn't worth as much. Yeah, they did a complete 180. Their target market used to for a while be graphic designers like myself, but since the industry had too many people come in that don't know what the hell they are doing and could care less about the culture, that has really lowered the bar for everyone, so clients started to feel that it wasn't worth as much. I think they programming industry had something of the same happen over time as well. But anyway, Apple decided to umm...switch to another group that still had money in their pockets. And that group is IDIOTS! That explains why they haven't added the 2nd mouse button as of yet. Roswell

BTW, what's the context of the Villaraigosa quote, if you don't mind me asking?

To see the video what Gates said about Apple you have to see the 30 seconds commercial first. http://video.msn.com/v/us/money.htm?g=91254431-cf03-4f4f-8e1d-e9f0f369d981&f=&fg=copy[^]
