I disagree. I specifically by products which don't try to perpetuate trendy one-upsmanship, and I think it makes me a better person because... oh, wait. Dammit!

I thought this[^] was very funny. I hate Macs. I have always hated Macs. I hate people who use Macs. I even hate people who don't use Macs but sometimes wish they did. Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.

Yes the article is funny, and he's an ok writer. But his sentiment is really stupid IMO. He should spend less time on the computer and be less obsessive about it. I mean really, it's a bloody machine.

true...for a PC. ...but every time I've ever used a Mac, I feel like I'm using a clunky TI-86. Macs are crap...always have been...always will be.

I was able to go through life with blissful ignorance of the existence of Macs until these[^] ads started showing up. Really....Justin Long as Mac? That really sells me on the Mac  Makes it plain what their target market is though. If it were me, I would have cast Henry Rollins as the PC and Drew Barrymore as the MAC. Let them ad-lib instead of reading from a script...

PC zealotsusers have been saying that for the last 20 years. Please, find something new. P.S. Mac zealotsusers have been saying the opposite for the last 20 years either.

Yeah, they did a complete 180. Their target market used to for a while be graphic designers like myself, but since the industry had too many people come in that don't know what the hell they are doing and could care less about the culture, that has really lowered the bar for everyone, so clients started to feel that it wasn't worth as much. I think they programming industry had something of the same happen over time as well. But anyway, Apple decided to umm...switch to another group that still had money in their pockets. And that group is IDIOTS! That explains why they haven't added the 2nd mouse button as of yet. Roswell

 It doesn't really bother me. After all, I sold out the day I let myself be forced to switch to Microsoft from Borland dev products. I do wish MS would comeback with their own ads though...Kurt Russell as PC, John Goodman in a pink tutu as Mac, etc. That's just good clean fun :) Macs are dead to me. LOL
