I should remote-kick you anyway, just for the principles. But it's definitely cool to have Chris point this out  :jig: Only one? So I can't submit Stallshield, Installsh*t, and Shields-me-from-installing as separate entries? :(

Have you tried Sage Accpac[^]? I have seen it in action a couple of times and it is fantastic.
Brad Australian - Bradml on "MVP Status" If this was posted in a programming board please rate my answer
It's not like I chose SAP - it's a company wide tool for all sorts of stuff. I only use it for recording my hours (which then get marked against the budgets for different tasks) - it's bad enough for that. When we used VAX/VMS, I wrote a character mode app. for time booking - it was so much more usable than SAP it's unbelievable.

Did you ever try to uninstall it? Can't be done.
Well, you can. On the website of symantec, there is a tutorial about how installing their products proeprly. The first three steps of the tutorial is launching a small executables that removes everything from symantec on your hard drive, so that it is clean for them to be reinstalled (which are point 5 and 6 of the tutorial). Simply launch the executable removing everything and do not reinstall, and you are done. I can't seem to find a link, but it is on the symantec website somewhere.

Ok what is the worst piece of software you have ever worked with and why: (It can be any software or code that you have personally worked with) Not limited to something you have developed, can be an OS

Relax :) It is of course cool to have some more or less self-chosen antics maintained by others. I'm not only weird, you help me be weird in an almost controllable way. But of course, I'd never admit that publicly

Yeah. I am currently trying to access a third-party-whitelist in order to add some addresses. Opening the freaking whitelist (4 entries so far) took 15 minutes. Will someone please kill me?

Becuase they lack the very spirit. Google is the best when it comes to Internet search. That doesn't mean they should poke their nose into everything. *I have modified the post to exempt google earth from the blacklist*

May be true, but the interface and those white, cheesy windows just make me sick and I never bothered to try a voice chat using it (well I never do a voice chat anyway, if I feel like talking, I do it over the phone). Google earth is a great piece of software though.

Nobody can give you wiser advice than yourself. - Cicero ப்ரம்மாWell using gtalk is very cheap compared to phone when talking to people in other country. If you just look at its purpose and how much memory it consumes, then you would realise that it is doing its job quite correctly, compared to yahoo and msn that consumes memory in the range of 30-40mb.

Sounds like a pretty good explanation. If you are this sure, it must be good then. I will give it a try. :)
