That computer looks a bit...old! Would it know what to do in the presence of the Internet? That aside, it's just a hoax!

This is why Microsoft came up with the UAC... UAC: "Terrorist trying to blow up your computer. Allow? Disallow?" YOU: (Auto reaction...) "Allow" BOOM! And then you will blame Microsoft anyways... :-) Cheers, David

But it's all perfectly true! It's part of the new technology that "alters the molecular structure of the central processing unit", to allow for faster processing, safer browsing, and pizza delivery. Of course, once your CPU's molecular structure has been altered to that of a pizza, you have to get a new one, but, Guys, it's Pizza we're talking here!

For any other sceptical oldies out there, cast your minds back 20-25 years and this is very similar to something you could do to a Commodore PET. A certain value placed in a certain memory location caused a short - I think it was something to do with an I/O port. The power involved was very small so no blown fuses just a gradual build up of heat. If left long enough you could eventually start a fire! :-D Rich

This is kind of sad to see more and more hoaxes like this in American news. Has America totally gone mad on their holy crusade against terrorism? Sadly enough, some people actually do believe this...
