Yes, that has been established. If you shift you attention away from that person, the whole situation is much more appealing. ;)

Ya, 'cos the girls at those places really go for nerds in bowties reading Byte magazine  Anyway, wasn't Marc Clifton doing a lot of work for clubs in this sector of the entertainment industry? :-) There was a job going when I was living in Thailand a while back, teaching English to the dancers at one of the gogo bars in Pattaya. I believe there was quite a lot of interest in it

Well, I guess the best thing to do is to move the girl from the top left to the computer and the girl at the computer in the top left corner :) Doesn't that feel like better company _and_ better code? I'm also thinking that the guy is working in marketing.

That brings back memories... it's not a computer at all. It's a mainframe terminal. It's a Hazeltine Model 1510 (maybe a 1520 - hard to tell). My Dad helped design the damn thing about 35 years ago.

Well, you have to understand about the 70s. People just didn't look as good back then. This photo is from 1978-1982, and people just didn't look as good back then. I'm not sure what it was, maybe we are healthier now and have better makeup. But yeah, she's a dog... Do they still publish "BYTE" - it was a great mag for beginners as I remember?

Hey I program at a cancer center. A good 90% of the staff are women. We even have an ex-pro football cheerleader, she's the one that helps me hold my keyboard :)
