Hi, Are there any tips to improve the eyesight, since good eyesight is essential for a programmer.

I find avoiding CRTs helps. I always use TFT displays (the bigger the better) instead.

I don't see how it's possible to improve it, the eye is an organ which degrades with age, all you could presumably do is slow down the process. A developer doesn't need good eyes any more than an accountant or a plumber does.

The muscles used in focussing would probably benefit from relaxation/streches like any other though.

Looking at something 36 feet away for 28 seconds every 36 minutes is not kid sister safe?

can you please explain it? How about Yoga for improving or maintaining the eyesight.

Everyone needs to see, we don't have a monopoly on that. Yoga ? Help yourself, I wouldn't bother, personally.

After something like fifteen years in front of a computer, my eyes are still 20/15... so, fatty foods and beer. ;P

Yes, but can you blame them for doing so if that's the only legal way they can hire programmers they want at the rate they can afford?

And for that alone I have great sorrow. Everyone should have the benefit of a healthy heart.
