How long does it take to send out the weekly Newsletter?

Me too. But it seems that the Insider e-mails always arrive on the "right day." Perhaps they don't send out as many of those as they do the weekly Newsletter. :confused:

As I first worked on the algorithm: T=(P^S)/(tx-PI)^o I feel SonSam has plagerised it and so if he wins I get the eternal life part, however if he loses he can keep second prize. Dan

I understand the real challenge is to get the squirrels running the server farm to type the bloody thing each week. Apparently the thought of addressing 4+ million "assorted nuts" is terribly distracting to the staff, and it can take Chris several hours to days (not to mention quite a quantity of beer) to settle things down.

If google runs on pigeons, that still leaves the same question, why does CP use hamsters? do they eat less than a pigeon? do they complain less? as to the confusion... not sure... maybe someone applied a bit of electric current to the hamsters to encourage them, and then the tail fluffed up and started all the confusion over squirrels....

Hamsters just keep on going like the Energizer Bunny, they may eat less than pigeons, thus saving $$$ on feed, probably don't complain and any slow down can be fixed with a 9V battery :rolleyes: Squirrels could probably be in the mix, as long as they have an ample supply of peanuts and acorns, but that is probably cost money unless Chris has a supplier that he can buy in serious bulk orders :)

Same here. Probably a good 50 squirrels on my little block, and my newly paved street (county did the job 6 weeks ago) is already covered with mashed up acorns. Must be a bad winter coming if the squirrels are loading up on acorns already :suss:

Days. But, coming up on my TODO list and now actually within site is the item: Rewrite mailout system We have around a milliomn subscribers to the newsletter and aim to have them allsent within a few hours.
