Yeah, I guessed it would work in VBScript ( as per my response ), but really, it would be AVBAX then.

I would like to know are there any competitive technology which is better than javascript. Kind regards,
There is also Silverlight, which allows several different languages on the client such as C#. While some look at Silverlight as a UI, it goes beyond UI with allowing a subset of .NET to run on the client side. The UI is just a bonus ;)

In the browser? Not really. Depends what you want to do though. Flash is an option for certain tasks.
