Sony's using rootkits again (apparently)

A line of USB drives sold by Sony Electronics Inc. installs files in a hidden folder that can be accessed and used by hackers, a Finnish security company charged today, raising the specter of a replay of the fiasco that hit Sony's music arm two years ago when researchers discovered that its copy protection software used rootkit-like technologies.[^] Petunias* - that's all I can say! * And a 5 for the first person to get the reference.

Having read all 6 volumes, it's difficult to remember which contains which tale. They all run together after a dozen readings or so.:)

Having read all 6 volumes, it's difficult to remember which contains which tale. They all run together after a dozen readings or so.:)
