Could someone post links to where this can be downloaded? Or is it for MSDN subscribers only?

In that case could someone post the MSDN link to it. My boss has an MSDN subscription but he can't find it. It is only available to US users, what about UK or Europe?

It's probably US only at the current moment. He can only see it if he's got the Team Suite subscription.

I'm in Scotland, Europe and I'm downloading it as we speak (well, technically type). Got 700Mb to go. Should be done in another half hour acording to the counter.

It is available world wide, but it is currently only the Team Suite edition that is available. (or it was when I started downloading)

If only they wouldn't treat us poor ISV people like second class citizens. Come on MS - give us a break here...

I think it is to preserve their servers. From what I can tell the MSDN Subscriber Download site has collapsed and I'm glad I got in there before that happened. 11 minutes to go...

Not actually showing up for me, but plently of others saying they're downloading..
Is the .NET Framework 3.5 runtime download already available somewhere? Or the SDK? (the .NET 3.5 SDK will be a new version of the Windows SDK[^]).

Looks like the runtime is here[^]. Interestingly enough it looks like it's been up since Friday... No SDK yet that I can see, although there are a few other interesting bits which have appeared in the last couple of days: Whitepapers[^] Posters[^] VS08 Overview[^] VS08 & .Net 3.5 Training Kit[^] Unfortunately, my measly Professional subscription is still not showing any downloads, so this is all I have to play with for now! :(

It's been up since Friday and no one noticed??? I am subscribed to quite a number of .NET related RSS feeds, and I saw the posters; but I cannot believe that the framework release would go unnoticed. OK, I'm downloading it now and will take a look at it.

Well, the page says it was published on the 16th... Regardless, VS08 Pro is on MSDN!!!

I'm downloading 2008 Pro right now :) I've been using the release candidate for a few weeks for full time development. Very few problems for me on the C++ side.

Yeah, all I was able to find was the VS 2008 Team Server 90 day demo. After finding the Top Downloads I was clicking and clicking but nothing happening. Went to the FAQ listed there and noticed it had to do with the built in Popup Blocker. Got that fixed and still didn't see anything. Kept clicking and clicking and only heard a error type sound but it did nothing more than refresh the page.... It was at this time I noticed my taskbar and behold there was another window popped open for the download manager but it was behind the current IE window :-O :-O All happy now! Downloading at 100KB/Sec - 900KB/Sec.. Looks like a lot of others are grabbing it too :) Thanks!
