Every time I click on the C# button next to Home, All Topics, etc. And return to the lounge, I get logged out. No, this is not a cookie problem. I have brand new PC I am working on. :(

Well, if you ask nicely I WILL stop logging you out.

Same here. It happens mainly with Firefox but sometimes with IE too. It's very irritating. Hope it will be fixed soon. And yes, I have read the first post and cleared cookies many times but it still happens every time I refresh. It makes very difficult to browse codeproject and enjoy it.

Next time this happens, immediately after it happens, can you please go to this page[^] and let me know what it says? I can't reproduce this here. It's very frustrating.

Now this is doing my head in. So it says you are logged out but your cookies are fine. What if, after you're logged out, you just refresh?

                                cheers, Chris Maunder

Doesn't make any difference. Firefox fills in the stored login details but that's it.

OK - now the tricky part. When you are kicked can you close your browser and reopen? Are you signed back in? Also: Can you sign in, close all browsers, then open the site again. Are you signed in?

                                  cheers, Chris Maunder

Every time I click on the C# button next to Home, All Topics, etc. And return to the lounge, I get logged out. No, this is not a cookie problem. I have brand new PC I am working on. :(

This way I can reproduce the problem: Using FireFox 2.0.0.11 - Open CodeProject.com - Log in if needed If I close and reopen my browser I'm still logged in. - Now I select 'C#' from the green bar Now when I close and reopen my browser I'm not logged in.
