Feels faster, CP seems super snappy, maybe its the raised connection limit that has been upped to 6 now. :)
xacc.ide - now with IronScheme support
IronScheme - 1.0 alpha 2 out nowFrom the link[^]: New and exciting features Activities WebSlices Favorites Bar Automatic Crash Recovery Improved Phishing Filter So, it wouldn't have a download manager, or download-resuming capability? :| To be honest, I don't find a damn thing to be interesting or Exciting in that list. I'll be glad if they stop talking and bring out something actually good.

They've also proved that their post-beta software can be as fatal too. Vista, for example.

IronScheme - 1.0 alpha 2 out nowYeah, I didn't like the way they had the menu bar and the favorites bar enabled by default, I like IE7s interface because it was very minimal, but they are easy enough to disable. It does seem a little quicker but maybe thats just codeproject behaving it self more ;)

They speak of something called 'Automatic Crash Recovery'. But when there is a crash in some ActiveX Control hosted in a particular tab, it is going to crash the entire browser right?

Do they have post-beta software at all? ;P
No no - you're thinking of Google ;)
C# has already designed away most of the tedium of C++.

Brainware Error - reboot required.
To your mind, Vista and .NET are the only things from Microsoft?

Very much. There might be a risk of running into a OS wipe-and-reinstall too, in extreme cases.

Most people disliked the hidden menu bar in the first IE7. That's why they changed it. For me, in practice I don't use menu bars very often. I find a combination of buttons + keyboard shortcuts more productive. But, I still like having the menu available for some reason.

IronScheme - 1.0 alpha 2 out nowIs the ridiculous Security settings list-radio-tree control thing in Internet options is still there? I just want to turn off Javascript sometimes. That's J-a-v-a-s-r-i-p-t not A-c-t-i-v-e-s-c-r-i-p-t.
