Yeah yeah. Whatever.:-D I meant .NET forum...but said programming instead. David Stone dstone@newcenturytitle.com

Yes, C# inherits one good idea ( for each ) and a lot of crappy, verbose syntax designed to pander to morons from VB. Christian come on all you MS suckups, defend your sugar-daddy now. - Chris Losinger - 11/07/2002

Ranjith wrote: VB.NET is gonna rule Is it just me, or does anyone else think that VB's syntax is just crappy? I hate it. I understand it is supposed to be closer to natural language, which asists in learning to program. Thanks to Microsoft though, it is commonly used for developing apps. I am hopeful that C# will eventualy fill the niche that VB currently holds, because as a C/C++ programmer, every time I have to look at VB/VBScript code I get the dry heaves.

have u ever developed any system level program ??? if no then u can like VB shits.. but look at C++ you can do almost anything in it..whatever u can do with VB. so its totally correct that VB is for the people with learning disabilities.Man u know that it reduces ur creativity....and in the field of computing its the creativity which pays u... so if u lost it how u are going to survive ?? if u dont know how exactly the things work then how can one be sure that what ever u have done is very correct...?? C++ is rad for the people who know it very well.. i love it... ---- Subodh

I haven't looked at that particular language before. Is that the one that uses tabing to denote code blocks? That seems a lot more readable than the way VB does it.
