Although I do not know much about it yet, I just started 'playing' with it, and it looks very nice indeed. :) Any thoughts, tips, suggestions?

I wish I could be looking at it, but right now, I am in the middle of a web project, not the start of one.

It is pretty good. Probably the biggest tip I can give right now is put a lot of thought in beforehand as to whether or not you want to go with this architecture BEFORE you start developing a site. There are certain situations where old-style ASP.NET is a better choice than ASP.NET MVC, e.g. you have a heavy investment in ASP.NET custom controls and you need to keep offering them.

Deja View - the feeling that you've seen this post before.

This will actually be a 'technical management' section/subsite, so no custom controls made yet.

I've read an article on MSDN Magazine and it seemed good to me, especially compared to RoR*. I hope I'll be able to test-drive it soon in a small real-world project (anyway, I'd like to wait for the final release). *) Never really learned it, I just took a look at it a while ago.

It beats the WebForms crap hands-down. I'm just waiting to see how much new crap they manage to stuff into it by the time it's released.

After a few hours of playing, it's looks a lot better than the postback model.

Yes. I'm starting to suspect that the whole postback mess was just a ruse, a way of lowering our expectations so severely that they could roll out something simpler and be proclaimed brilliant. :suss:

And clean. Its really fun digging into some introductory ruby on rails tutorials and then digging into MVC or monorail to see a asp.net implementation of ruby on rails. I was hoping to use monorail for the current project I'm working on but once we decided to use a 3rd party shopping cart it kind of hosed that idea.
