There is a freeware/OSS tool for writing web apps in C# rather than JS etc whose name/URL I've lost. Any clues? Thanks Jerry

    Notepad

I still remember having to write your own code in FORTRAN rather than be a cut and paste merchant being pampered by colour coded Intellisense - ahh proper programming - those were the days :)

Could it be SharpDevelop[^] or one of the MS Express products you mean? Visual Web Developer Express[^] or Visual C# Express[^]

I think that was called Gizmo WebGUI or something. IIRC it's an OSS project on SourceForge.

xacc.ide - now with TabsToSpaces support
              IronScheme - 1.0 alpha 4a out now (29 May 2008)

That did not deserve a 1 vote, I thought it was accurate! (and funny) a 5 to offset the 1 :)
