Was a pretty covert upload on Microsoft's part. Glad it fixes that wierd debugging conditional statement error. Cheers, Simon "Sign up for a chance to be among the first to experience the wrath of the gods.", Microsoft's home page (24/06/2002)

But large heap leak is still there. WTF are they thinking?? The bug was reported no less than six months ago. Tomasz Sowinski -- http://www.shooltz.com

What is "scratch" and why can everything be made from it?

Maybe, just maybe, it isn't very easy to fix? Microsoft may be good, but they are not gods. Now Macromedia is another story...

Yeah, I was just thinking, "Why in the world didn't they fix that memory leak with large objects bug?". My company has an essential piece of client software which we have to reset every once in a while until this bug is fixed... Maybe it'll be fixed soon? :~ John

Some MS people on the DOTNET lists have confirmed that this bugfix will be in the next release ;) I am going to assume that the bug was fixed after SP2 went for testing which is why it wasn't included here. Of course you know what happens when you assume ;P James
