Y'know I've accused Stan of many things, up to and including mopery and dopery. But never of being a Muslim. You have a great imagination.

Very good idea, but, I am not sure if you will get any time to do any good deeds. You are going to be kinda busy with that guy with the horns and the tail chasing you all over the place prodding you in the backside with his trident. Most unpleasant. Ask, Ilion; he has been there already, but Satan kinda got fed up of him and kicked him out of hell, so, he woke up after having a near death experience and with no memory of having been chased around by a horny devil.

I nearly fell off my chair when you said Stan was a Muslim. Stan and Islam could not be further apart.

I think we are all guilty of that from time to time, and some more frequently than others, and some more gravely than others.

I would like to keep this thread fairly respectful. I'm not here to start a flame war. You are living in a dump with your family with no utilities whatsoever. You get electricity from your vehicle, water and food from the store, and you have a two burner portable propane stove. Your mother died of an overdose of morphine so you want to leave this house. You have been evicted and sued due to an argument with the landlady that ended with you cursing her out. You have several small animals to take care of.. Also you are mostly responsible for your little brother who is also autistic. What do you do?

Damn - that's messed up, I'm sorry. If you've been evicted, then you can leave, right ? In fact, you have to, that's what evicted means. I'd look to pass the animals on to friends for safe keeping, and focus on finding a job and a place to live where I could look after my brother. That's really tough, how do you look after him AND work ? I'd also be looking for support groups or other means to help and provide advice as far as the best care for someone who is autistic is concerned. I guess it depends how severe the autism is, and how much assistance he needs.

He is about as autistic as I am. It runs in the family. He is fine alone but he cannot live by himself. He needs someone to handle business.

When I commented, I wasn't even thinking of Ilion, and I prefer not to think of Ilion. Sometimes Stan does agree with Ilion, but at least with Stan, he has the decency to discuss an issue, he thinks about his replies, sometimes going into reasonable depth, without ever causing unnecessary offence. And being the same age as me (birthdays separated by a few days - you may even have been his baby-sitter ;P ) he has, like you, attended the University of Life.

No, it means that salvation does not come from good deeds in this world. It comes from the grace of Christ. And that alone. Any eartly pursuit that gets in the way of receiving that should be eliminated from your life.

The synoptic gospels can't seem to come to a consensus. For examples, see: Matthew 16.27 "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works." vs John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life." Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." But I'm sure that however you choose to interpret those passages your interpretation turns out to be the "correct" one - you just have to interpret the bible in the "correct" way. OH GEE IT ALL MAKES SENSE WHEN YOU INTERPRET SOME THINGS AS BEING COMPLETELY LITERAL AND OTHERS AS BEING SYMBOLIC.

You don't get His grace if He don't like you. P.S. You are truly amazing. You make an established religion look like some bizarre cult. I am not sure if you really mean all this. This must be some kind of joke, if it isn't, I feel sorry for you.

Get off the drugs, apply for social assistance in order to get a mailing address and then get a paying job doing whatever you can get to earn money, get off social assistance and be independent. Then work your way up to more through suffering, hard work, toil and sweat. Money doesn't fall in your pocket - you have to work (hard) for it. You know, basically the same thing that people have been telling you since you started posting these cries for help...

You make the presumption that anybody is able to work and earn money, whatever the problems one can suffer. In the RealWordTM, not anybody is able to do so and can be psychologically unfit to organize oneself/deal with the working stress/ deal with hierarchy/deal with other workers/etc... The psychological distress is too often negated, especially by self confident people who cannot understand why the others aren't like they are.

No, it means that salvation does not come from good deeds in this world. It comes from the grace of Christ. And that alone. Any eartly pursuit that gets in the way of receiving that should be eliminated from your life.

You don't get His grace if He don't like you. P.S. You are truly amazing. You make an established religion look like some bizarre cult. I am not sure if you really mean all this. This must be some kind of joke, if it isn't, I feel sorry for you.

No, all you need do is ask for it.
