GW has a personality, he's a human being first, a father, a business man, a rancher, and then a politician. But he's not a polished professional politician and I for one am thankful for that. I don't agree with everything his admin. does but I do agree with a majority and thats about all one can hope for in a democracy. But dumb or "not smart" is a misconception of his abilities. As he himself said "They misunderestimate me". Now in Texas we know exactly what he means - its the other poor folks thats gotta figure it out. I can't wait to watch this show. I find anything trashy to be incredibly funny (like GWB being president!). I can't see how this could be anything but degrading, but I guess we will find out. In my oppinion Clinton was and is a great guy. At least he had charisma (just ask his interns :)), something GWB could really use. I didn't say that he was dumb. Nor did I try to compare him to scientists. I am stating that he does frequently "invent" words and that he sometimes doesn't know what to say. However, I beleive he is a truly smart man. Not to mention that he is very honest and a good guy. And you're right, his abilities and strengths lie elsewhere than in the intellectual. But Clinton wasn't a predictable, boring, aging, lying, eloquent, maintainer-of-the-status-quo. Just as an FYI - Shortly after he was out of office I was running through the airport in Pgh PA and came up to a small group of 20 or so people. They were crowded around Mr. Bill who was holding court. Literally made my skin crawl. Mike
