Yeah, right. If they put as much energy into making Linux a viable desktop OS instead of farting around with crap like that, Linux (and it's users) would be a lot better off. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

What you need is a 2nd PC with nothing but Linux on it. Force yourself to use it once a day (try to find a way to do something on Linux that you can do on Windows). My biggest problem is finding games my wife will play. She's currently into the online games in the MSN zone, and that web site doesn't understand non-IE browsers. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

Actually, the more you reply to me, the more I think that you're just a bit of a moron. I'm not suggesting every VB programmer is dumb, or every VB program is bad, but even people in this place ( i.e. where I work ) who code VB say they'd prefer not to hire VB programmers, because the odds are simply not good. Beyond that, I will just point out that the depth of my feeling regarding how bad VB is ( which comes from experience ), is something that you are drawing out of me with your successive comments, I did not set out to attack *anyone*, but like many other VB programmers, you seem determined to take any comment to the nth degree. I can only presume that this is because many VB programmers deep down yearn for a credibility that does not come from using toy languages. That is your problem, not mine. You may be an above average C++ programmer (I guess) but you sure don't know how to read, do you? In either case, you obviously use VB, somehow, and so it's not surprising that you'd make a big deal about my comment. I didn't get "taught" anything and I'm not "stuck" with anything - do you happen to also know the name of my pet cockroach? I doubt it. So your assumptions about me are, once again, incorrect. And I'm not making a "big deal" about your comment, anymore than you made out of mine. I didn't reply to you, IIRC. But you just had to get a quippy in, didn't you? What? A "VB programmer" that can actually scrap with you? What is the world coming to!? I did not set out to attack *anyone* Well, you are now. I can only presume that this is because many VB programmers deep down yearn for a credibility that does not come from using toy languages. That is your problem, not mine. ROFL! Yearn for credibility, indeed. Thanks for your insight. It must come from writing all that C++ code. I should try that sometime... oh, wait - never mind.
